We collect the information needed to prepare and deliver a valuation: your name, contact details, the property address, the details of the CGT event, and any documents you provide in support — contracts, rate notices, lease agreements, plans and photographs.
Your information is used to prepare your quote, carry out the valuation, deliver the report to you and any professional adviser you nominate, and meet our record-keeping obligations as a professional practice.
We disclose your information only to the people you nominate — your accountant, solicitor or auditor — and to the valuer preparing your report. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not disclose it for marketing purposes.
Records are held in Australia and retained for the period required by the Australian Property Institute and our professional indemnity insurer. Access is restricted to the valuers and administrators who need it.
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.
